SOLO EXHIBITION

Beauty Parlor

Beauty Parlor features abstract portraits of goddesses and muses, exploring how our brains are hardwired to recognize faces as attractive. The exhibition delves into the mystery of beauty as something uniquely self-created, emphasizing how pattern recognition shapes our sense of aesthetics.

These artworks are experimental remnants of my journey into designing inspiration itself. My hope is that these compositions will spark recognition in the viewer, revealing how the true value of beauty lies in its self-creation.

Unraveling pattern recognition…

This exhibition features vibrant, symmetrical artworks that explore pattern recognition through non-narrative visual experiments. Initially evoking curiosity and confusion, the pieces resolve into clarity with closer observation. Some reveal hidden faces, while others are abstract portals created through a generative process. All works incorporate intricate nets inspired by Indra’s net, inviting contemplation and discovery.

ART SERIES

Portals

This series of abstract paintings uses foundational methods of color, symmetry, and invented forms to create vibrational patterns and liminal places. These paintings are experiments that evoke visual sensations without purpose, idea, or an implicit narrative.

Data Clouds

These paintings explore how 'data clouds' shape our perception of reality. Using 3D polygonal models, these synthetic clouds contrast natural cloud formations with the abstract, digital concepts of data. The work highlights the tension between lifeless systems and dynamic natural processes through organic metaphors. Each cloud is created by painting patterned nets without intersections and then placing dots of phosphorescent paint at the gaps, so that in the dark these clouds transform into starry nebulae, emphasizing the mysterious nature of these types of clouds.
